For our October Warehouse Talk we have invited Ms.Ting Li, a Certified MBCT (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy) teacher from the Oxford Mindfulness Centre, to talk about Mindful Meditation and introduce to us two simple but practical mindfulness meditation techniques which are easily applied to daily life so as to reduce pressure and feel better.
Through this Mindful Meditation, you can step away from your current eating habits and patterns and become more aware of your relationship with food allowing you to be totally focused on the present moment
The Body Scan has proven to be an extremely powerful and healing form of meditation. It helps tremendously when cultivating mindfulness within the body
Balinda Li is a Certified MBCT (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy) teacher from the Oxford Mindfulness Centre. She has been studying meditation throughout India, Tibet, Burma, Bali and North America over the last ten years. She has recently been receiving long-term training from the Institute of Meditation & Psychotherapy of Harvard Medical School and leading mindfulness groups both online and offline. Balinda has an MBA from the Velerick Business School and is a part-time journalist.
